John leads a global higher education professional services team at Pearson providing a suite of comprehensive services to customers aligned to the customer life-cycle and has led numerous successful business transformation and organizational change efforts. Prior to his current role, he has held senior leadership roles in sales, marketing, and product management in North America and in Europe.
He is deeply committed to equity and inclusion and has served for more than four years as the Global Executive sponsor for Pearson Spectrum, an employee resource group supporting LGBTQ+ colleagues and allies and was recognized in 2020 and 2021 by Yahoo! Finance and OUTstanding as one of their top 50 Global Executive Allies. John also leads Pearson’s disability mentorship program in partnership with the National Federation of the Blind.
John holds degrees in Economics and International Relations and continues to pursue new educational opportunities as a committed life- long learner. He has held board positions in a local community organization and a national charity organization and has volunteered as a coach, mentor and leader for youth sports and community organizations.

Angel Moran is a Vice President at JPMorgan Chase in the Corporate & Investment Bank's Investment Middle Office Operations where he is the global training lead for his department. Angel has been in the finance industry for 15 years with the majority of his experience in investment fund administration.
Angel currently serves on The Board of Corporators, and their investment committee, for his alma mater, The Norwich Free Academy. He is also a co-lead for the Advancing Latinx Talent program within JPMorgan's CIB's Security Services Operations line of business.
His commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts along with his long tenure as an uncle, that started before he was even born, are what drive him to advocate for a more equitable world.

Nancy brings over 30 years of executive-level experience in global higher education. She has led or consulted on numerous business transformation and organizational change initiatives. She has served as President of Pearson’s Teacher Education, Professional Development and Student Success division, Pearson’s Global SVP of Talent and DEI Strategy, and Leadership Development and Employee Learning in North America. A thread that runs through her work is her commitment to elevating others to their highest potential.
Nancy’s commitment to equity and inclusion runs deep. In addition to her professional work in DEI, she draws from her own experience as a lesbian growing up at a time when the closet was home to most gay people and as a mother of a genderqueer teenager.
Her non-profit experience includes seats on the boards of civic and educational organizations. She holds a business degree in Organizational Behavior and Psychology from the University of New Hampshire, has earned several certifications, and has participated in executive education programs at Wharton, Harvard, and Cornell.

Ray is the current Head of External Research Resources for Fidelity Investments. With almost 30 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry, Ray has consistently developed new skills and led many firmwide initiatives with a focus on Compliance, Legal, Trading, and Research. At Fidelity, Ray has been a motivated participant in both the department level D&I program, as well as an active participant in the Fidelity LGBTQIA+ organization called PRIDE, focused on promoting and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community.
Ray is excited to join the amazing team of professionals on the Greater Boston PFLAG Board and to support the organization with his passion for inclusivity and equality, as well as his corporate skills and experience.
Prior to working with Greater Boston PFLAG, Ray was a member of the Boston HOPE Foundation, an organization centered around raising funds for the Aids Action Committee, as well as women’s health initiatives. Additionally, Ray and his husband have been supporting members of the Human Right’s Campaign for over 25 years and are also advocates for animal rights through their support of the MSPCA in Jamaica Plain, MA.

Beth is currently a Director of Talent Management at Fidelity Investments with a focus on supporting the organization in building greater inclusivity in the workplace. Beth brings over 16 years of experience working in various roles from Legal Operations to Learning & Development to more recent roles in People Analytics, Human Resources and Diversity & Inclusion. Beth is highly engaged with the employee resource groups and special interest groups at the firm and helped found a group supportive of working parents and caregivers called Raise. Over the past 5 years she has been instrumental in building the D&I strategy and built programming and supported adjustments to HR practices to better enable an inclusive workplace.
Beth is thrilled to be joining Greater Boston PFLAG and is excited to support their initiatives, offering her corporate experience and creative flare.
Beth draws upon her upbringing as a member of the Unitarian Universalist church where she learned through the OWL curriculum about the LGBTQ+ community. She feels it’s a priority for LGBTQ+ individuals to feel recognized, respected, safe, and to have a greater sense of belonging in the community so they can thrive as their authentic selves. As an ally, she feels it’s a great duty to continue to learn more, be open to coaching, and to support others on their journeys. As the parent of a young child, Beth strives to increase opportunities to read children’s books and watch media that depicts and has strong LGBTQ+ characters.

Stacy is an experienced healthcare nurse executive with over eighteen years of progressive leadership roles in acute care academic medical centers, higher education, and ambulatory care. Stacy is co-founder and principal at Canopy Consultants, a leadership development and consulting firm focused on supporting clinical leaders to continually improve their practice and in turn patient outcomes. Stacy obtained her BSN from Saint Anselm College, her MS in Nursing Administration and MBA from Northeastern University, and her PhD from Boston College. Stacy's greatest professional joys come from developing leaders to find their voice and skills to have courageous conversations in service to patient care excellence and healthcare transformation.
As a parent to a teen and an adolescent child, she strives to create an environment for them to explore their full identity and be open to others doing the same. As a family we enjoy traveling, trying new foods, spending time in my home state of Maine, and playing with our dog, Jasper.

Sue is an immigrant from Hong Kong and is a professional in the non-profit & philanthropy sectors for decades, in both the US and Hong Kong. In addition to her work as the Director of Grants Administration at a community health center, Sue is also currently an Advisory Council member at the Newton Food Pantry; and she was previously on the board of the Newton Cantonese School; and a member of the Human Rights Commission for the city of Newton. As a queer woman with a mixed-race heritage and as a parent to a gender-nonconforming child, Sue is passionate to help elevate the voices of folks who are historically excluded. She marched in her first pride parade in Boston as a BAGLY youth in the early 90’s.
Sue is excited to bring her professional knowledge in development and DEI to help support & improve the work of PFLAG to ensure more families like hers can be supported in the future!

Vivian is a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer at Cambridge Savings Bank and has been in sales for many years.
Over the years she has supported many LGBTQ organizations and is excited to be joining the Board of GBPLAG. GBPLAG is her way of giving back.
She is part of the Pride ERG at Cambridge Savings Bank.
She grew up in Jamaica Plain and currently lives in Hyde Park with her partner, Maritza and their dog Sofie and cat Mosca.

Courtney is excited to join the directors of PFLAG, and looks forward to working among such incredible individuals. They’ve been a mental health advocate and service provider for 18 years working alongside communities affected by marginalization. It is a passion of theirs to provide and advocate for equity for the QTBIPOC and LGBTQIA2+ community. Their Motto is “live loud and live proud!”
