Melissa MacNish Nishman Consultation Hours
The office would like to remind folks that Melissa’s consultation hours are an extremely useful resource for volunteers across our services. Many of you already know Melissa because she conducts our new facilitator training sessions, however she also holds open office hours to continue supporting our volunteer services even after training ends! She is a great support system and can help folks navigate the difficulties of our work.

These guidelines were created to help parents and other caregivers of young children better understand gender identity and expression in early childhood. Throughout the guidelines, we use the term “parent” broadly, to refer to any primary caregiver or guardian of a child. These guidelines are designed to be useful to all types of primary caregivers.

The World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) released the Standards of Care for the Health of Transgender and Gender Diverse People, Version 8. WPATH is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, interdisciplinary professional and educational organization devoted to transgender health.
